Donation Policy

Gently used clothing donations, toys, and baby equipment donated will be priced and made available for purchase and as marked as part of our Free Market items available to foster families at no cost.

FosterAdopt Connect is a 501c3 and can accept tax-deductible charitable contributions. Please check with your tax advisor to see which donations are tax deductible.

Donated items accepted that will not be sold and are available to families caring for foster youth only:

  • New socks, underwear, and PJs

  • New toys for birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, or for a child who has just entered foster care

  • New Coats

  • Food-Please check to see what food items will be accepted before donating food

  • Hygiene Products-Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, etc.

  • Household Items: Cleaning Products, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper

  • Diapers and Wipes

Consignment Policy

Sammy’s Window accepts new and like new infant, children’s and teen clothing, toys, and baby equipment on consignment.

Spring and Summer consignments will be accepted January-May. Fall and Winter consignments will be accepted June-December. Please note, items consigned at the end of the season may not have a full 90 day consignment period and may be discounted more quickly than those brought in at the beginning of the season.

Sammy’s Window determines the acceptability of each item and the selling price. Items are priced according to brand, condition, resale value, and market demand.

Clothing items must be freshly laundered and neatly folded in plastic totes, cardboard boxes, or shopping bags labeled with your name and consignment number. Consignment items brought in garbage bags will not be accepted for consignment.
